The story is ok. The charcters don't have much of a backstory since they're just there to advance the plot, but these types of books are usually just plot driven so it's no big deal, but I would have loved to know more about the teenagers.
I loved the fist book (Avogadro Corp) and thought that I would at least like this one. At one point in the story I just wanted to get it over with, since I didn't want to judge the book wihout reading the whole thing, but I didn't actually care what happened at the end.
The first few chapters are good but then it starts getting boring and the story more sci-fi than techno-thriller. I think the whole idea is great, but the final implementation was terrible.
If this is the way he's going to go, I'm not sure I will read his third book.
